Relatively large budget hotel Pomping Tower offers great-value rooms in central Chiang Mai, just 10 minutes' walk from the popular Night Bazaar, shops, restaurants and several gay bars.

Each bright, air conditioned guest room features an en suite bathroom, floor-to-ceiling windows, satellite TV, free WiFi. The hotel has a nice pool with sun loungers, two restaurants and a bar.

Massage service is offered at the hotel, though we think you may be more tempted to visit the gay massage spas in the area.

Located within 10 minutes' walk from the Night Market and several gay massage spas, Mo Rooms offers 12 individually designed rooms inspired by Chinese zodiac signs.

Choose a room that reflects your deeper animal instinct. For the well-endowed, we recommend the Horse room, and for those feeling particularly virile - the Rabbit. For solo travelers, the Rat room may be a good choice.
